Today marks the launch of the Juno Tab 3 tablet by US-based hardware manufacturer Juno Computers. This new tablet operates on Linux and offers users the choice between Debian-based Mobian Linux or Ubuntu/Kubuntu 24.04 LTS.

The Juno Tab 3 is equipped with an Intel Alder Lake-N Celeron N100 processor, which includes 4 cores and 4 threads, has a base clock speed of 1.10GHz, and can go up to 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost. It also features Intel UHD Graphics. The device boasts a 12.1-inch IPS touchscreen that is anti-glare and has a 2K resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and supports 10-point capacitive touch.

This Linux-powered tablet is built with an all-metal chassis and includes dual stereo speakers, a 5000 mAh 38Wh battery with approximately 5 hours of battery life, support for 4K at 60Hz, a detachable keyboard that uses US-English layout, 12GB 4800MHz LPDDR5 RAM, and an M.2 2242 SATA III SSD with up to 2TB storage capacity.

In terms of connectivity, the device is well-equipped with Intel AX101 Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB-C 3.1 ports (one of which supports charging and video output), a micro HDMI port, a micro SD/TF card reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a built-in microphone.

Software-wise, the Linux tablet runs Mobian Linux, a Debian-based GNU/Linux distribution designed for mobile devices, featuring the Phosh (GNOME-like) mobile UI or Ubuntu 24.04 LTS running the GNOME desktop, along with Kubuntu 24.04 LTS equipped with the KDE Plasma desktop environment.

The Juno Tab 3 is currently available for purchase from Juno Computers’ online store  for $699.00 USD with 512GB SSD storage. By adding just $22 more, priced at $722.00 USD, the storage is doubled to 1TB, while the 2TB version is priced at $799.00 USD, which seems to be a reasonable offer.

Juno Tab 3: The New $699 Linux Tablet Running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Hits the Market
 

Renowned Linux hardware supplier Juno Computers unveiled the Neptune 17 v6, a Linux-powered laptop equipped with a 14th generation Intel Core processor and optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics.

This sixth generation Neptune 17 notebook boasts a 17.3-inch matte display featuring a QHD (2560×1440) resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, broad view angle, 100% DCI-P3, and G-SYNC. Under the hood, it wields a 14th Generation Intel Core (Raptor Lake) i9-14900HX 45W (max. 157W) TDP processor that comes with 24 cores, 32 threads, Intel UHD graphics, and can clock up to 5.80 GHz with Turbo.

Additionally, the Neptune 17 v6 offers the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card outfitted with 12GB GDDR6 VRAM and 7424 CUDA cores or a superior NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM and 9728 CUDA cores. Note that all the video ports are controlled by the dedicated NVIDIA GPU.
