According to the developers, nearly all functionalities of Linux are operational on M3 devices, although they are still working on comprehensive display controller (DCP) and graphics processing unit (GPU) support. Users should be aware that performant or power-efficient 3D acceleration is not yet available, and functionalities such as sleep mode and the HDMI port are still under development.
